Throwback Thursday: the bow tie

Publié par le 1 mai 2014

Benjamin Mauroy-Langlais is a chef. He worked in restaurants of Montréal (Hôtel Herman, Salle à Manger), Copenhagen (Amass, Relae) and London (Pollen Street Social). From an early age, he understood that one or two well-chosen accessories add the perfect touch of chic to a casual outfit. A bow tie and suspenders are the perfect way to achieve a dapper gentleman look without the traditional suit and tie combo.

How do you create an easy-to-wear outfit for the man in your life who’s a little apprehensive towards your love of fashion? Start with navy blue pieces that he can mix and match in so many different ways. A bow tie and suspenders add a well-groomed touch, but sneakers keep the look sporty and casual. Top it off with a yellow shirt for a funky pop of color.
